Why I Started The Garden Post
I spend a lot of my time creating with my hands; gardening, making art, baking, growing food, and finding inspiration in the changing seasons.
At the same time, I spend a lot of my day online. As a small business owner, technology is a big part of my life. It's how I share my work, run my business, and stay connected with people around the world.
I use technology every day. It helps me run my business and connect with people. But I also need things that bring me back to the physical world.
Over time, I found myself craving more opportunities to step away from the screen and engage with something tangible. A handwritten note. A packet of seeds. A piece of art. A seasonal recipe. Small things that invite us to slow down and pay attention.
The Garden Post grew from that desire. It's not about rejecting technology. It's about creating space for another kind of connection, one rooted in seasons, creativity, curiosity, and the tangible world around us.
My hope is that each envelope feels like a gentle invitation to slow down, stay curious, and reconnect with the small things that make life meaningful.
The Garden Post is a way to create the kind of connection I think many of us out there are looking for, one rooted in seasons, creativity, and the tangible world beyond the screen.
More Than Mail
The Garden Post isn't just a subscription.
It's a monthly reminder to:
Slow down
Notice the season you're in
Create something with your hands
Learn something new
Plant something
Spend a little less time scrolling
Find inspiration in everyday life
Connect with the natural world
It's also about the simple joy of having something to look forward to.
In a world where most things arrive instantly, there's something special about knowing a thoughtfully curated envelope is making its way to your mailbox. Something created with care. Something meant just for you.
My hope is that The Garden Post brings back a little of that anticipation, the excitement of checking the mail, discovering what's inside, and finding delight in the small things.
The contents may change from month to month, but the intention remains the same: to cultivate a slower, more intentional relationship with the world around us, to inspire, and to bring little bits of joy into life!
