Tiny Greens, Big Flavor:

Grow Microgreens & Elevate Every Dish

Microgreen Grow Kit Instructions

  1. Presoak seeds for 8-12hrs. *Some seeds create mucilage, a gelatinous substance that naturally secretes from seeds. This is completely normal!

  2. Rinse and drain seeds.

  3. Evenly space seeds on inner sprouting tray and place on clear cover to help maintain humid conditions for sprouting. If seeds are small enough to fall through holes on tray, place a layer of germinating paper or simply a paper towel cut down to size over sprouting tray so that seeds do not fall through holes.

  4. Cover entire grow kit with a dark cloth or anything you have around the house to block light from the seeds. This is called the “blackout” stage. While remaining in “blackout”, mist seeds 2-3 times daily until sprouted enough for bottom watering (4-5 days depending on seed variety).

  5. Once seeds have amply sprouted, fill bottom reservoir with water just enough to reach root system without submerging seeds in sprouting tray. This is the perfect time to introduce the grow kit to light! Place it in a well lit window sill and allow microgreens to grow for a few more days.

  6. When microgreens are ready for harvest, they will generally be 7-14 days old at this point depending on variety. Trim them right above the root system. Leaves and stems are both edible.
