Our
Story

Hi, I'm Cortney Briggs, the grower, maker, and dreamer behind Shoreline Shoots, an urban farm based in Cape Canaveral, Florida. This happy little coastal farm began as something deeply personal: a desire to care for my family in more natural, intentional ways. I wanted to find healing through what I could grow, create, and share with my own two hands.

I found joy in discovering natural ways to support wellness, nurturing the body, mind, and spirit. What began as a simple passion for growing microgreens has evolved into a deeper journey with all-natural farming. Along the way, I began crafting a variety of wholesome, homegrown goods that I now love sharing with others.

These days, you can find me at local markets and community pop-ups as part of our weekly rhythm. I also host fun, hands-on workshops where folks can get their hands dirty, learn how to grow their own microgreens, and take home a little garden in the making to watch grow and enjoy.

Many people know me through the farm, but art has always been an important part of my story. I hold two degrees in art and have spent years exploring different creative practices alongside my work in the garden. The Garden Post is a natural extension of both passions, a place where art, nature, and seasonal living come together.

Through The Garden Post, I share original artwork, seeds, stories, and seasonal inspiration by mail, creating small moments of wonder that arrive right in your mailbox. It's a way of bringing a little more beauty, curiosity, and connection into everyday life.

Here at the farm, everything is grown or handmade with care, using organic practices and sustainable sourcing. I believe wellness starts in the soil, and that simple, beautiful things can make a big impact whether it’s a glass of fizzy probiotic soda, an irresistible sourdough treat, or a sprinkle of microgreens on your favorite meal.

Shoreline Shoots is more than a farm. It's a way of living in rhythm with nature, healing through the senses, nourishing the body with what's real, and embracing small comforts that bring peace to your day.

Thanks for being here and supporting this homegrown dream.
